The Research aimed to explore the effects of learning the concept of "field" within a history lesson through the Competency Approach, utilizing a proposed didactic framework tested with a sample of male and female learners in the second year of preparatory secondary education in the Khenifra and Youssoufia regional districts In order to compare them. Methodologically, a descriptive analytical approach was employed. In addition to analyzing and discussing the results reached in order to scrutinize the hypotheses proposed for the research problem. The results revealed a relative convergence between members of the control and experimental groups at the pre-test level. However, statistically significant differences emerged in favor of the experimental group following the administration of the post-test. Consequently, recommendations were formulated to enhance the learning of the field concept within history lessons and to improve classroom practice.
