The effect of imaginative games on the development of creative thinking in children with a movement disability

Abstract

 This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Scamper pretend play program on the development of creative thinking of children with a motor disability between the age of 9-11. Based on the experimental approach, a group of 20 children, consisting girls and boys, have been selected from the city of Mahdia with the help of Ansar Association for Persons with Disabilities. To achieve the aim of the study and then apply the Scamper program for pretend play by average of 5 sessions per month and to measure the effectiveness of the Scamper program for pretend play, the Torrance test for creative thinking was applied in the form of images (b) on the members of the experimented and controlled group before the application of the program as a pre-test and after the completion of the application of the program on the experimented group, the Torrance test of creative thinking was applied to the controlled and experimented groups as a post-test.
