يهدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين إدمان الإنترنت والتعرض للعنف الإلكتروني كما تُدركه الضحية لدى طلبة الجامعات في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وذلك في ظل تزايد التحديات النفسية والاجتماعية الناتجة عن الاستخدام المفرط للتكنولوجيا الرقمية. مجتمع البحث من طلاب الجامعات الإماراتية، فيما تألفت عينة الدراسة من (146) طالبًا وطالبة من جامعة الشارقة، وجامعة حمدان الذكية، وجامعة المدينة عجمان. استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، مع تطبيق مقياس إدمان الإنترنت ومقياس التنمر الإلكتروني كما تدركه الضحية. أظهرت النتائج الأولى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الجنسين (ذكور، إناث) في كل من إدمان الإنترنت والعنف الإلكتروني. فيما بينت النتيجة الثانية وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التخصصات، حيث كان طلاب التخصصات العلمية أكثر معاناة من الإدمان الرقمي وأكثر عرضة للتنمر الإلكتروني مقارنة بأقرانهم في التخصصات الأدبية. كما كشفت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباط طردية ضعيفة بين الإدمان الرقمي والتعرض للعنف الإلكتروني. وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة إعداد برامج إرشادية وتوعوية تستهدف طلبة الجامعات لتعزيز الاستخدام الآمن والمسؤول للإنترنت، بما يسهم في الحد من مخاطر الإدمان الرقمي والتعرض للتنمر الإلكتروني.
This study aims to explore the relationship between internet addiction and exposure to cyberbullying as perceived by victims among a sample of university students in the United Arab Emirates. To achieve this, the study's measures were applied to a sample of 146 university students. The results revealed a weak positive correlation between the two research variables. The results also showed no gender-related differences in either variable. Conversely, the results showed that students in scientific majors suffer more from internet addiction and are more exposed to cyberbullying (as victims).
