The Implications of Arab-Israeli normalization for Palestinian cause in light of the Palestinian political division

Abstract
The Palestinian issue lives in a state of dispersion in positions and decisions, and is subject to external pressures that weaken its internal decision - since the Palestinian-Israeli peace agreement - and the situation worsened when some Gulf states embarked on normalization with Israel, on the basis of "peace for peace," which affected this on The Palestinian issue and its foreign policies, and the Palestinian situation is further complicating the continuation of the Palestinian political division. This is why this study came to show the impact of normalization on the Palestinian foreign policy in light of the Palestinian political division.
The study has dealt with several approaches and axes related to normalization and its effects on the Palestinian foreign policy in light of the Palestinian political division.
The study used the historical method that studies the past in order to reach the facts to define the problem. It also used the descriptive and analytical approach that studies the search for natural, social and political phenomena, in addition to the theory of decision-making, which in turn explains the decision-making process, its implementation and its follow-up within official departments, and the study was distributed over three axes The first axis dealt with the repercussions of normalization on the Palestinian issue and its foreign policies.
- The second axis also dealt with the disparity in the Arab attitudes towards the normalization process. The third axis also dealt with the impact of the Palestinian political division on the Palestinian foreign policy in light of normalization.
- The study also concluded the most important results, namely The Gulf-Israeli normalization increased the external Palestinian political position weakened and lost, in addition to the absence of an official stop towards normalization, which created a confrontation with the official and popular Palestinian and Arab positions that reject normalization.
The study recommended developing a unified Arab vision and strategy with Palestine in order to confront normalization with Israel and prevent Israel from exercising its aggression against the Palestinian people.
