Establishing an artificial intelligence training center to qualify high school and university graduates for the Saudi labor market

Abstract
The creation of an artificial intelligence training center in Saudi Arabia is a vital strategic step towards achieving the goals of Vision 2030. This center aims to bridge the skills gap in the job market, support innovation, and enhance economic diversity. Despite potential challenges, the positive returns of this massive project are expected to be significant at the national level.
The world is witnessing a huge technological revolution led by artificial intelligence, which opens up new horizons in various fields of life. Saudi Arabia is one of the leading countries in adopting this technology, where its digital strategy focuses on employing artificial intelligence to drive economic and social development. Qualifying the Saudi workforce to work in the field of artificial intelligence is of utmost importance to achieve the goals of this vision.
The study indicates significant interest in artificial intelligence among citizens, as most of the participants are a bachelor's category, with a high proportion of women. Most respondents see the importance of practical training, preferring urban education, reflecting their desire to personal interaction in the learning process. 93.8% are also believed to be an urgent need for graduates specialized in this area.
This study contributes to shedding light on the importance of creating a specialized training center in the field of artificial intelligence in Saudi Arabia, identifying the needs of the Saudi job market in this field, and developing an integrated training plan that focuses on qualifying high school and university graduates for the job market. This study will help in reducing the skills gap between supply and demand in the Saudi job market, providing new job opportunities for Saudi citizens in the field of artificial intelligence, and enhancing the competitiveness of the Saudi economy in the field of technology.
The objectives of this study are to analyze the needs of the Saudi job market in the field of artificial intelligence, identify the basic skills required for high school and university graduates to work in the field of artificial intelligence, develop an integrated training plan to create an artificial intelligence training center in Saudi Arabia, and provide practical recommendations to develop the skills of the Saudi workforce in the field of artificial intelligence.
