The Shaikh, Educator, and Interpreter: Ahmad Dam Sokon and His Scientific Life

This research aimed to identify the educator Ahmad Dam Sokon and his book “The light of Intellected", with highlighting his life. The main question of the research is: Who is the educator Shaikh Ahmad Dam Sokon? How was his scientific life? For achieving the goal of the research, the researcher used the historical method. As a result, he reached a set of beneficial lessons, the most important of which are: 1. The high scientific status of Shaikh Ahmad Dam Sokon, 2- The appearance in many aspects of knowledge, so his many trips and goings to scientifics gave him a knowledge that led him to a great matter. 2-Many impacts left behind him, which made contemporary researchers interested in the study of his scientific heritage; which are related to the Holy Quran, Hadith and its sciences, monotheism, Language, Literature, and mathematics. 3- Beside the previous points, the scientific biography of Shaikh Ahmad Dam Sokon and his high culture, which conveys various faces that resulted in this good harvest, so he was a brilliant, educated interpreter, knowledgeable jurist, smart in astronomy, stars and Mathematics, and a skilled linguistic in Arabic.
