Abstract

This study is concerned with receiving the literary critical thinking of Abdel Rahman Mounif, specifically his perception of the practice of historical imagination. The problem with this study is identified in the monitoring of Abdel Rahman Mounif's perception of the practice of historical imagination? Most importantly, the Arab country's memory is being forgotten, which makes building its memory a historic necessity. This prompted Mounif to recover history and memory imaginatively. It is the motives of historical imagination that have given history and memory their social significance, leading to the conclusion that imagining history and memory assigns two functions to the novel: the cognitive function of knowing the novel to reality, and then the social function of the novel's ability to empower the human person to socially change.
