Abstract

The study aimed to highlight the ruling on adopting dogs, which the Prophet - peace be upon him - warned against, and even ordered the killing of some of them, which are the brute lions. Because it is the most harmful, and the furthest from learning what is useful. As for taking it for decoration, it is one of the things that spread, as ignorant people took it for the religious and worldly harms that result from it, from the decrease in reward, and the refusal of angels to enter the house, and terrorizing people, and the harm to them. As for taking it for a social need from Guarding and hunting is permissible to derive its benefit. And I reached a number of results, most notably: The book Neil Al-Maqsood, Explanation of Sunan Abi Dawud, is a book full of valuable and varied information between interpretation and its sciences, hadith, its sciences, jurisprudence, its origins, language and its instruments, and that with tenderness a scientific encyclopedia in several sciences, including language, literature, jurisprudence, its origins, hadith and others. The study recommended a set of recommendations, such as: the necessity of producing the book (Nail Al-Maqsud) to printing, and then teaching and studying it in the houses of knowledge, and the necessity of studying the modern craftsmanship of Judge Ali Bahnan.
