Abstract
Linguistic criticism is a phenomenon that emerged with the owners of linguistic correctness among most of the advanced scholars, so critical features appeared among them. To correct the Arabic language from falling into error, and they had critical terminology, and they were divided between a strict adherent to the eloquent and those who went beyond the eloquent to the correct, and among them is Abu Hayyan Al-Andalusi in his book (Resorption of the Beat), as I found prominent critical features in his mention of grammatical and linguistic opinions, and he took preference Between these opinions, he built his book according to the idea of correcting and correcting the description obtained in books and opinions, and that was in several linguistic levels, including: the phonetic, morphological, and grammatical level, and he adopted linguistic evidence in criticism, and he had critical terms, including: which is correct, and this is wrong and many others.
