Abstract

Abstract:
The research aims to discuss the concept of human security in the Arab-international context at the academic and applied level, and to define the most important factors that contributed to the emergence of the concept of human security, to put the concept in the context of application by addressing the most prominent official visions that were put forward about the concept and the significance of some countries’ presentation of the concept, and the concept of Human security in Arab and international thought and the concerns associated with the political use of the concept. The researcher followed the historical method, the descriptive analytical method, the legal method, and the case study method. The research concluded with many results and recommendations, the most important of which is the increasing persistence of the political regimes making the state a source of threat to the security of its citizens, and re-reading the concept of human security on the part of the Arab countries without necessarily being a tool for domination, control and interference in internal affairs.
