Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims to identify the role of love education in Islam and its role in promoting mental health in children, to identify the most important methods of positive education and their role in the development of mental health in children, and to identify the role of educators and educational institutions and the family, which is the first educational institution for the child environment, school and places of worship, and the culture prevailing in society as influential factors in love education, which is part of positive education and discipline in children and may be a cause of impact on mental health. For children negatively, in this research the important relationship between love education and the development of children's mental health was clarified so that the researcher pointed out that the relationship between the two variables is strong, i.e. whenever the education of love is positive, mental health is effective and fruitful and vice versa. A child who lives a life of love and expresses his feelings well is in better mental health.
The researcher concluded that love education is closely linked to the mental health of the child and has an active role in promoting mental health to reach a decent life filled with hope, love, tenderness, and aspiration for a healthy future psychologically and socially.
This is confirmed by the Islamic religion and its teachings in education with love for the category of children.

- The need to provide the appropriate family environment for the development of children's mental health and to encourage them to use all means.
- The need to provide a school environment that encourages activities to activate education with love and positive discipline and that develops social relations and children's abilities.
