The Managing of Designing Islamic Studies Curricula in Palestinian Universities: an exploratory study

Abstract

The study aims to identify the management of the design of Sharia education curricula in Palestinian universities, how to develop teaching strategies, and the ability of the curricula to formulate religious identity. The researcher used descriptive analytical research, where the researcher described the problem of the study and through a series of interviews with deans and lecturers of Sharia faculties in Palestinian universities, he analyzed the results to reach important recommendations that work on developing Sharia curricula in Palestinian colleges and universities.


The most important results of the study: Defining curricula must be based on scientific academies to develop unified curricula based on scientific studies and recommendations and not on the inclination of the doctor who studies the subject, and the process of updating the curricula must be continuous and continuous with the parallel modern changes. The most important recommendations: to develop the academic content of each subject, so as to balance the nature of the subject and its relevance to the needs of the times, and to review curricula for dealing with forensic sciences; To develop it in terms of: form, content, method, and selection of contemporary issues.
