Al-Rafiai'i's criticism method and the Battle of Authenticity and Modernity

Abstract

This research is titled: The Criticism method of Rafiai and the Battle of Authenticity and Modernity, in which I spoke about Rafi's criticism method and the most important writers he criticized in his criticism battles, namely Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad and Taha Hussein, and together they belong to Renewable Current. The aim of my study on this topic is to research the criticism of Rafiai, as well as to address the most important criticism issues on which the critic disagreed with advocates of renewal and openness to the principles of the West, as well as to describe the criticism differences between all these critics representing the traditionel school and the renovated school, especially since these literary battles have received great attention from modern researchers. For that reason, this study was divided into three main interlocutors: the first dealt with the concept of criticism at Rafiai and his method of criticism , and the second axis talked about the main criticism issues touched upon by the critic , and the third devoted it to talking about his criticism battles against Akkad and Taha Hussein, In conclusion, I presented set of conclusions and conclusions, including : Rafiai was influenced by Arab heritage and dedicated his criticism to defend him against any attempt at renewal. The emergence of two Arab criticism schools; The first seeks to preserve Arab-Islamic components, and the second seeks renewal and creativity. And the criticism method at Al Rafiai is based on clinging to heritage
