Ruling on demolishing the mosque to fix the direction of its qiblah

Abstract
The study aimed to shed light on a jurisprudential incident that occurred in the city of Feroua: (southwest of Mauritania) related to the demolition of its mosque; To fix the direction of his qiblah, after discovering his deviation from the correct direction of the qiblah. To achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the inductive-analytical approach, by following a number of legal texts related to the subject of the study. The study reached a number of results, the most important result is the incident; the subject of the study; “Demolishing the Mosque to Correct the Direction of its Qiblah”, if some people commit vilification in it, and place it in the circle of the sacred, it remains, in the opinion of the researcher, a matter of discretion, and there is a dispute in it. Also, the solutions presented, and suggestions to deal with the apparent deviation in the qiblah of the mosque, all of them have problems. The study recommended a set of recommendations, most notably emphasizing the good faith of people generally, and scholars particularly, with the need to return the new legitimate incidents to those in authority, especially those who have full knowledge of the local reality of the village.
