Abstract

This study aims to clarify the relationship between the narratives of the Quranic stories and stylistic studies. It reaches out a conclusion that the Quranic stories have unique characteristics and employ special anecdotal features that prove their distinctions from the human stories. This is explicit through the types of storytelling narrated, which include the realistic, the historical, and the representational storytelling. The Quranic stories have been characterized by their diversity of context and the element of surprise which synthesizes scenes within the framework of sequential contexts according to aesthetic photography. The research problem of this study lies in clarifying the most important orientations of the anecdotal stories in the Holy Quran. It also clarifies the orientations of stylistic studies in the Holy Quran and presents applicable models on them. This study follows the descriptive approach in clarifying the narratives and the stylistic aspects of the Quranic stories.
