Abstract

This research paper tried to highlight the controversy over the term popular poetry, and the labels in this expressive form, which is the finest art of literature, and the most popular and enjoyable of recipients throughout the ages, and the most expensive in the depths of its connotations, and that is why the question of the identity of the popular poem has gained its place as an artistic production in the general cultural landscape of any nation, which the researchers called for attention to on its aesthetic, anthropological, psychological and social aspect, and then became seen in the position of this poetry with two looks, which researchers see in it and in His popular culture is integrated with official poetry, and a view that sees him as opposed to it, which is why his term defines a kind of turmoil and instability. The researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the study came up with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is: intensive efforts by researchers to find solutions to various problems about terminology. The study recommended to Introduce popular literature as a teaching material in the curriculum.
