Abstract

The researth aimed to know the tribal conflicts and their types, and to measure the Economic and social effects of the tribal conflict in the southern sector of Al nahud locality in the State of west kordofan, and to investigate the facts about the gauses that led to tribal conflicts. The research tested that the tribal conflict had an impact on the Economic and social aspects of the community of the southern sector of Al nahud locality in west kordofan State. The historical method was used to narrate and review tribal conflics during the research period, and the descriptive analytical method was used to define the research problem and test its hypotheses the research relited on a questionnaire. Personal interviews, observation, and mini-sessions with the research community to collect data. The statistical analysis method was followed using the statistical package for social sciences (spss) program. The research concluded that the tribal conflict had an Economic and social impact, was forty-three people were killed during the period from 2019-2022, and blood money amounted to forty-three billion Sudanese pounds, and pastures and farms were burned, as well as ten villages with their full components of shelter, crops, food, and livestock, with losses estimated at three billion. Sudanese pound. Commercial and economic activitv in the markets stoped and schools closed. Seven hundred families have been displaced. The research recommended upgrading existing police stations in conflict areas to police in conflict areas, rehabilitationg existiong schools and health centers to provide integrated services, increasing the number of pumps and excavations, digging new duneki in the region, appoing new policemen for Hamar in the conflict area, and opening pathways.  The states contribution to compensating those affected by the conflict, and rebuilding and constructing villages destroyed by tribal conflict through organization, the state, and popular efforts to return their residents again.
