Manifestations of luxury in Achaemenid art

Abstract
This study deals with the manifestations of luxury in Achaemenid art, and the accompanying changes and developments that were reflected in the artistic, economic and social levels, as the human being, by his innate nature, has tendencies to love beauty, and through art the artist feels the reality of this beauty and its habitat. In nature and the universe, which he feels pleasure from providing and satisfying, which is part of the manifestations of luxury, especially as it inspires in human enjoyment what sometimes exceeds the material pleasures that he needs in his life, and we will try in this study to clarify the concept of luxury, and the reasons that contributed to its appearance in some classes The Achaemenid society, and the extent to which Achaemenid art contributed to the emergence of luxury. In this study, the manifestations of Achaemenid luxury will be dealt with in terms of the raw material from which the various artistic models were sculpted or made, which are presented through the manifestations of luxury.
