The reality of e-learning in Morocco: Tangier-Tetouan- Alhoceima region model

Abstract
This study aimed to examine the reality of e-learning in Morocco, and it also aims to reveal the mechanisms employed in this sector, to highlight the procedures followed by the Ministry of National Education to disseminate this technology in educational institutions, and to identify the obstacles that hinder the adoption of the e-learning style. To explore the reality of this type of education, 120 High and middle school teachers from the Tangier-Tetouan- Alhoceima regional Academy of education participated in this study. Meticulously built questionnaire was distributed to them. The questionnaire included four main parts and twenty-five questions that dealt in detail with all the elements of the subject. To answer the research questions, the questionnaire was adopted because it is a methodological tool that includes questions that are subject to a set of criteria and conditions. Based on the objectives of the study and its variables, it included: The quantitative statistical approach and The descriptive, analytical. The results of the study showed that Morocco's e-learning has failed to achieve its intended goals owing to several constraints such as poor training, material difficulties and processing problems.
