Abstract

The Kabbalistic thought has focused on the hidden interpretations of the nature and the aspects of God, and the spiritual relationship between Him, humans and nature, while relying on the oral Jewish heritage known as the Oral Law.

Additionally, Kabbalists drew upon Gnostic and Platonic explanations to access the hidden meanings through understanding the secrets of the Hebrew letters. They based their thought on multiple sources such as the Talmud, the Zohar, the Bahir, and the book of Yetsira (The Book of Creation).

This study employed a descriptive approach alongside to the analytical one, to clarify the obscurity that surrounded its concepts, and reached a set of outcomes, most notably: The Book of Yetsira is a Kabbalistic source that discusses the creation and the universe through deciphering the symbolism of the Hebrew language. It is a fundamental source of Kabbalistic thought that reveals the secrets of God and His relationship with His creation.
