The gap between the requirements of the remote labor market and the skills of graduates of Palestinian universities in the southern governorates

Abstract

The study  aims to shed light on the employment opportunities provided by the remote labor market for young people and university graduates in Gaza, which contribute to improving their living conditions and limit the rising unemployment among their ranks, by clarifying the labor market requirements of skills and special abilities in the technical field, and analyzing the gap  The skills of university graduates, the necessary training that would qualify them to join the labor market, and the incubation of pioneering ideas and emerging projects provided by the business incubators in Gaza to ensure their sustainability.  The level of readiness to work on free e-work platforms, and this requires an initiative adopted by the Ministry of Labor in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and any party that helps graduates obtain jobs through free e-work platforms in several areas such as: e-marketing, website design and development, and graphic designs  And all the services provided by freelance platforms.
