The impact of climate change on the future of health security in Africa

Abstract
The study sheds light on futur health security in the continent of Africa, based on its essential determinant which is the environment, especially from the perspective of climate change. Hence, the research problem focuses on indicators and the reflection of this change on futur health security in Africa. Depending on the prescriptive analytical approach that is adopted in order to confirm the hypothesis of a link between the two phenomena, the results have shown that the basic indicators of climate change contribute to creating an environment that encourages the émergence and a rapid spread of epidemics due to the resulting rowth of direct and indirect health insecurity. Therefore, we conclude that achieving health security in Africa requires strengthening and activating national and international covenants talking into account that the countries of the continent, alongside the major countries, assume their responsibilities in this context.
