Hausa and Their Economic Impact in the Lake Chad Basin

Abstract
The Hausa people are among the peoples who arrived in the Lake Chad Basin centuries ago, and had an influence in the region. This tribe was distinguished by its good morals, so it had a good reputation and good company, so it mixed and blended with various tribes in Chadian society. This phenomenon formed a starting point that suggests a serious scientific study that may find its way through this study. Therefore, the topic of the influence of the Hausa tribes in the Lake Chad Basin was chosen.
The importance of this study lies in shedding light on the influence of the Hausa tribes in the Lake Chad Basin society. They arrived in the Lake Chad Basin a long time ago and laid the roots of a civilization that influenced the Chadian tribes and became on its path. This study aimed to achieve the following:
- Confirm the importance of the Lake Chad Basin and the important position it occupies, as it represents a bridge of communication linking Islamic countries and due to the strategic location, it attracted a huge number of different tribes.
- Highlight the civilized aspects of the Hausa tribe, which was known for trade, activity and not being lazy.
