Abstract

The research deals with the connotation of the singular participle in the noble Prophetic hadith. The importance of the research lies in the fact that it is about the hadiths of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the status of the hadith in the language and Sharia. Since the hadiths are Arabic speech, spoken by the most eloquent person who spoke Arabic, the research aims to extract the singular participle from the hadiths of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and to explain its semantic impact on the recipient. The researcher chose some of the hadiths of rulings from the book (Al-Umdah fi Al-Ahkam by Al-Maqdisi, and the researcher used The descriptive analytical approach, which is based on extracting and analyzing aspects of the participle .The research included three sections: the first on defining the participle  and its rulings, the second section on the  significance of clarification and what branches from it, and the third section on the significance of specification and what branches from it, then a conclusion that included the results reached by the research, Among the most important of them is the presence of the singular participle in abundance in the Prophetic hadiths, and the diversity of the forms in which the adjective came, and then.
