The Impact of Handicrafts on Developing the Capabilities of Rural Women (By Application on Rural Female Students at the University of West Kordofan)

Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the handicrafts and assess their impact on developing the capabilities of female students in Enhoud rural area in west Kordofan university, it also aimed to identify the extent and contribution of handicrafts in reducing unemployment rates.the study applied descriptive analytical method and used (spss) Ultimately, results showed that handicrafts affected the economic and social conditions of students. the study concluded that the handicrafts created job opportunities and increased income and contributed to the payment of tuition fees for the student of Elnhoud rural area at the university of west kordofan. the study recommended to introducing simple techniques in order to increase their income and production reduce unemployment rates andcontribute to fulfil the local demand.
