تبحث الدراسة في مقوّمات الفعل والمعايير الأخلاقية، وقوى الخيال. والغرض منها معرفة مفهوم الخيال في فلسفة بول ريكور الذي يشكل محوراً أساسياً في إدراكه لمعنى الأشياء، الهوية، والفعل، يمكن فهم فلسفة ريكور من خلال الخيال. فهو لا ينظر إلى الخيال باعتباره قدرة نفسية فحسب، بل باعتباره قوة دلالية ذات تأثير كبير على حياتنا اليومية. وهذا يعني أن الخيال ليس مجرد نشاط عقلي يقتصر على الصور الذهنية؛ بل يمتد إلى ما هو أبعد من ذلك لإعادة بناء الواقع والانخراط فيه بطريقة ومنهج جديدين.

This means that imagination is not just a mental activity confined to mental images; rather, it extends beyond that to reconstruct reality and engage with it in a new method.
