The Poetic Style in the Poetry of Rasmiya Mahibes

Abstract

The poetic style is one of the important rhetorical methods, as it is an intentional artistic performance for its own sake. Rasmiya Muhaibes: She is one of the contemporary poets from southern Iraq. She wrote poems in the early days of her life about the homeland, and used the poetic style in her poetry. How much did the research include the goal and purpose of knowing what the poetic style is in the poetry of (Rasmiya Muhaibes). As for the research method, it is descriptive-analytical, in which the poet’s attitude towards style was shown. The most important results that the researcher reached in her research is her dependence on reality in her poetry, meaning that she employed her poetic methods to embody the lived reality and the extent of its impact on the recipients. Among the recommendations emphasized by the research is the possibility of employing colloquial expressions in Arabic and Persian, provided that they are used in a way that addresses contemporary issues.
