The Impact of the Position of the Noble Quran Sciences on the Identification of Other Sciences: A descriptive study

Abstract

The study considers the definition of the Noble Quran Sciences (NQS) in terms of the special position that it has been granted among all different sciences. The holy Quran has honourable history that mirrors in the diligence of the former and current Muslim scholars in authoring and providing valuable sources for NQS. It is classified as a humanitarian science. NQS reflects the mediating of Muslim scholars and their scientific exploratory attempts, as the holy Quran is the prime source for Muslim belief. The argument of this study centralises in identifying what NQSs are, and what it includes from other sciences that clearly ease the understanding of legislative sources of NQSs. The purpose of this study is to clear the confusion and misunderstanding of lots of people in identifying the NQSs and its sub-sciences. As mentioned by Imam Alsoyouty, the NQSs include all different sciences, scientific and practical sciences, and other categories of sciences as the holy Quran is generally the most honourable and comprehensive book ever. In this study, I adopted the historical and descriptive methodology to determine the identification nature of NQSs as well as other different sub-sciences, and to derive the related legislative rules out of the discussion. The study concludes that status of the NQSs is well-known, and it is in the front-side of all science. This has been the case because the holy Quran is the origin of sanctification in Islamic belief. I also conclude that the civilised challenged that Islamic nation faced, and has been facing over centuries, has determined the approach that Islamic scholars use in their authorship. They collected everything related to the noble Quran, in different Quranic studies, in one science and they called it (Noble Quran Sciences) which covers all sciences.
