Abstract

The study aimed to extract and deduce the preferences and choices of Al-Alusi in Surat Al-Fatihah because he was not an ordinary commentator. The study depended on inductive, theoretical, descriptive, analytical approach to extract weightings. At the end of the study, the most important results, the most important of which were that Al-Alusi had a stature of righteousness, piety, and knowledge, especially his knowledge of the Arabic language, as well as his preferences based on evidence and recommendations, the most important of which was what Al-Alusi recommended in his interpretation, as well as completing what the researcher started with, which is extracting Al-Alusi’s weightings in the rest fence.
