Abstract

The present study aims to identify the role of inclusive education in the development of the mental image of deaf children. The study group consisted of 8 children divided between men and women (4 integrated deaf children and 4 non-integrated deaf children). In this study, the researcher used the following tools: non-verbal intelligence test, mental picture, and the results resulted in the following:
Integrated deaf children outperformed the mental image tests by a large percentage compared to non-integrated deaf children, which means that school integration has a role in the development of the mental image of the hearing impaired child.
School integration has a role in the development of the mental image reproduced by the movement of the hearing impaired child.
School integration plays a role in the development of the expected kinetic mental image of the hearing impaired child.
School integration has a role in the development of the mental image expected of transfers for the hearing-impaired child.
