Preparing maps of the food industries structure and their geographical distribution in Al-Muthanna Governorate for the year 2021

Abstract

Industrial activity is one of the most widespread and diversified economic activities, and it is characterized by focusing on certain places and locations because of its impact on the industrial settlement elements. This topic aims to clarify and identify the structure of the food industries in the governorate and classify it within specific standards. In addition to studying its geographical distribution according to the administrative units and the type of each branch from the food industries branches placed in the study area. In this study, the analytical and descriptive method was used in clarifying the structure of food industries in Al-Muthanna Governorate and its geographical distribution, besides using the maps in clarifying the geographical locations for the kinds of food industries spreaded in the governorate according to its branches and administrative units; which are 12 units.
