    Abstract

    The topic of this research is to study the formats of composite lexical units in Al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, the letter “O” "Section 1" model, and its methodology is an analytical descriptive approach based on theoretical linguistics. Description allows for perception of the phenomenon.

    The Main Findings of the Research Include:  Such research resulted in 308 composite lexical units. And Lexical units with various forms, namely, free companionship, habitual companionship, terminological expressions, formulas of places or persons, and formulations of terminology in particular areas, such as medicine, agriculture and engineering.

    These are some of the Most Important Recommendations: The creation of a repertoire of language representing the reality of the use of living Arabic and the pursuit of terminology through it; Because this is the best example of linguistic terminology. And examine each gazetteer, discover language terms, combine their efforts, and connect their findings to the context of the current spoken languages; to gather the most comprehensive encyclopaedic literature available in the language being utilized today.
