The Impact of Group Counseling Based on Logo-Therapy on Enhancing Psychological Flow Among Male Students at Nizwa University

The objective of this research was to design a group counselling program based on Logo Therapy, aimed at improving the psychological flow level among male students at Nizwa University. The study sample comprised 32 male students who scored the lowest on the psychological flow scale, and were randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group, each consisting of 16 students. The experimental group participated in an eight-session group counseling program held twice a week for four consecutive weeks, while the control group did not receive any intervention. Results of the study showed significant differences in the psychological flow scale between the experimental and control groups, with the experimental group showing higher levels of psychological flow (α ≤ 0.05). The follow-up test conducted three weeks after the program showed no statistically significant differences between the post-test and follow-up test results of the experimental group, indicating that the program effectively maintained a high level of psychological flow. Based on these findings, the study concluded that the counseling program was effective in enhancing psychological flow among male students at Nizwa University.
