    Abstract

    The study aims to know the nature of the international competition over Iran due to its distinguished geographical location, which forms a link between two different camps, the European countries and the United States of America on the one hand, and the Soviet Union on the other hand, during World War II. In his study, the researcher adopted the modern historical method, where he followed the development of military events and the political and economic relations between the two sides historically. Among the most important findings of the study: The instability in the political and economic relations between Russia and Iran due to the pressures of foreign countries and their interference in the internal affairs of Iran.
