      Abstract

      The current study aimed to develop a model for school principals to lead educational change in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of some contemporary models. The study used the descriptive method, and the theory of content analysis was also used in document analysis in collecting data and information. The results of the study reached to the development of a proposed model for school principals to lead educational change in the Sultanate of Oman, which consists of seven stages: deep Faith in the need for change, forming a change management team, spreading a culture of change, developing a plan for change, implementing change, evaluating change and celebrating successes, and follow-up and continuous feedback.
