Abstract

The study aimed to employ artificial intelligence applications as an entry point for enhancing the entrepreneurial orientation of Sudanese insurance companies, by measuring the impact of predictive analytics and process automation on the dimensions of creativity and risk-taking. The results revealed a statistically significant effect of predictive analytics on both dimensions, whereas process automation showed a positive effect on creativity only, with no statistically significant relationship with risk-taking. The study recommended expanding the use of these technologies within the sector, developing human competencies, and fostering a culture of institutional innovation. It also called for increased investment in digital infrastructure and emphasized the need to align artificial intelligence applications with the specific characteristics of the Sudanese market, given their current limited adoption. Furthermore, the study underscored the importance of enacting legislation that encourages innovation.
