      Abstract

      This article addresses the topic of the evolution of terminology and its relationship with understanding religious texts, focusing on the term 'state' as a model. The research aims to analyze how the meanings of terms change over time and the impact of this on the interpretation of religious texts. The importance of the research stems from the need for an accurate understanding of religious texts in their historical and cultural context to avoid misinterpretations that may arise from the evolution of terminology. The research methodology relies on a historical and linguistic analysis of the term 'state' and its study in various religious contexts across different eras. By reviewing multiple interpretations and comparing them with linguistic and social developments, differences in understanding and interpretation were identified. The results concluded that the term 'state' has undergone numerous developments in its meanings over time, significantly influencing how religious texts mentioning this term are interpreted. The research emphasizes the necessity of considering linguistic evolution when interpreting religious texts to ensure accuracy in understanding and to avoid misinterpretation. In conclusion, the research calls for ongoing studies to update religious understanding in accordance with linguistic and cultural developments.
