Publication terms
General Rules for Publications:
- The research must have scientific or literary values, such as presenting a new production in the field of knowledge.
- The research must have a sequence of ideas, linguistic and spelling integrity, and include more than one topic.
- The research mustn't be derived from a doctoral or master's thesis, or previously published book, except by placing a disclaimer at the beginning of the research, and re-editing the research texts which are discovered on the similarity detection program.
- It is preferable that the research contains references or previous studies in foreign languages, especially English and Arabic.
- The researcher must commit to making the amendments approved by the arbitrators regarding his research, as publication is conditional on making these amendments.
- The authors of studies and research submitted to the journal are contacted from one day to a week after receiving them.
- The journal translates some published researchers from English to Arabic or vice versa if it deems that the research contains unique cognitive values that must be circulated, with the research author being notified in advance of this matter.
- All rights are reserved to the journal, and it is not permissible to republish any of the research except with hand written approval from the journal, with mentioning the primary source.
Formal requirements for research:
- The number of research pages must not exceed 25 pages, including: Title page, Arabic and English abstracts, references and appendices, if any.
- The basic information for the research is written on the first page, and includes:
- Research title in both languages, Arabic and English.
- Researcher name (Researchers' names) and their positions in both languages, Arabic and English.
- (For example: Mahmoud Saed Bu Hamad: Assistant professor in educational management, Cairo University, Egypt).
- The Email.
- The research is written on A4 size Word Document file, leaving 3cm margins at the top, bottom, right and left.
- Abstract:
- The research must include both abstracts in Arabic and English.
- The size of the Arabic abstract does not exceed (250) words, and English abstract (300) words.
- Each abstract is followed by keywords (indicating the precise specialization of the research), such that their number doesn't exceed (5) words, and no less than (3) words.
- The abstract must include: (general definition of the research with mentioning the aim of it, research methodology, community of study sample in the case of field studies. The most important results reached, and the most important recommendations made), and the research can be written in one paragraph.
- Spacing between lines: They should be single (If the journal sees otherwise, it will edit by itself), and spacing after paragraphs should be 8 or 10 points.
- Fonts: If the research is in Arabic, it must be presented in the Simplified Arabic font, and in the English language, Times New Roman is used. The font size is 16 bold for the research title and the main title, 14 bold for subtitles, and 14 normal for the rest of the texts.
- Font size in footnotes is 12 points in Arabic or English.
- The religious and poetic texts must be set in the correct form with diacritics and in special brackets.
- All page numbers font is Simplified Arabic, and the font size is 14 normal.
- Drawings and figures:
- Charts and illustrations are inserted directly into the text
- It is preferable for the drawings and figures to be in two colors, white and black.
- Tables and figures are numbered in font size 14 normal.
- Figures and tables are numbered sequentially, and their names and explanatory Notes are written at the bottom.
- The table should be centered on the page.
- The source of the figure or table must be mentioned below it, and if it was prepared by the researcher himself, this must be noted, and the documentation of the table must be in bold 14 font, with the word source mentioned, for example: (Source: Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, April 17, 2021 AD).
- When a table is referred to in the body of the paper, its number must be mentioned.
- Documentation:
- Documentation of a published book: Author’s last name, first name, (year of publication), book title, edition, city or country, publishing house.
- Example of documenting a book: Abu Shady, Saad, (2008), Advanced Financial Accounting, Third Edition, Amman-Jordan, Jordan University Publications.
- Example of documenting a joint book: Saad, Raed, and Daraghmeh, Zahran, (2014), Cost Accounting in Health Facilities, first edition, Jerusalem-Palestine, Al-Quds Open University Press.
- Documentation of research published in a peer-reviewed journal: author’s last name, first name, (year), research title, journal name, volume (issue), page numbers.
- To document research published in English:
- Awad, M, (2010), Input Variable Selection Using Parallel Processing of RBF Neural Networks (PP-RBFNNs), The International Journal of Information Technology, 7 (1), PP 6-13.
- An example of documentation of published research: Daraghmeh, Zahran, (2008), The Impact of Growth, Size, and the Degree of Financial Leverage on the Informational Content of Cash Flows from Operating Activities and Accounting Profits: Evidence from Jordan - the industrial sector, Arab Journal of Administrative Sciences, 15 (3), p. 1 -22.
- Documenting research published by researchers in a foreign journal: Qasrawi A, and Mergen, A, (2013), Effect of Yttrium Solubility on the Structural and Optical Properties of Pyrochlore Ceramics, Ceramics International, 39(8), PP 868–862.
- Documentation of a translated book: Name of the original author, (year), title of the book, edition, translation (—–), city or country: publishing house of the original researcher.
- Documentation of university theses: Author’s last name, first name, (year), research title, thesis title, unpublished master’s/doctoral thesis, university name, country name.
- Documentation from an organization’s publications: organization name, (year), issue title, issue number.
- References:
- Sources and references for each page can be written in the text (apa) or in the margin.
- If the research is written in Arabic; Arabic references must be separated from foreign references.
- If the research is written in English; It integrates Arabic and foreign references and written in English.
- References should be arranged in alphabetical order.
- The references mentioned in the reference list must have already been used in the body of the research.
- Mathematical equations must be set correctly, so that:
- The equations are given serial numbers and the number is placed in parentheses as follows: Bx + a = Y (1).
- It is preferable to use the Microsoft Equations program included in the Word package to write equations.
- The font size of the equation is 14.
- An explanation and clarification of the variables included in it must be placed below the equation.
